As a tradition, Guru Poornima is celebrated to honour the Gurus (Teachers) for their dedication and selflessness. On this day, special bond between teachers and students is celebrated.
Nelson Mandela once said, “Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world.” The teacher imparts education hence the role of the teacher is of paramount importance both in the present and future of a student.
On the occasion of Guru Poornima to honor Guru Vyasa and the teachers, Puja was organised on 13th July, 2022 at Sri B.M. Patil Public School, Vijayapurby the Head boy VivekDeexit and Head girl PavaniKulkarniof the school in presence of the Principal,Mrs. Bandana Banerjee, Sr.Coordinator, Mrs. DeepaJamburealong with Class X Teachers and Students.
It was hard to hold on, it was even harder to let go! That’s what our students told us when they participated in the inter-house TUG OF WAR. We must say, our children are quite strong. All four houses held on tight to the rope. Students were very excited and charged-up. They were sitting according to houses with a member waving the house flag vigorously in front of the group. Students enjoyed the competition.
