The Independence Day has a special place in the heart of every Indian. Not only does it symbolizes the celebration of wonderful years of freedom but also extends an emphatic message of the progressive future of our country.
On 15th August, 2023, 77th Independence Day of our motherland India, was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor by the family of SBMPPS- teachers, students and non-teaching staff. School campus was beautifully decorated with flags and balloons to commemorate the day.
Our beloved Principal, Mrs. Bandana Banerjee hoisted the national flag. In her articulation, she conveyed us that how having freedom is a precious gift and how dutifully we all must deliver our part of responsibility for our motherland which radiated the spirit of patriotism in us.
Melodious patriotic songs were sung and a dance performance was presented by the students of VI to X.
On this day, Patriotic Dance Drama Competition was also held for the students of different houses; Cauvery, Ganga, Krishna and Yamuna.
